<p>Davangere: Municipal Administration Minister Rahim Khan stated that there is a proposal before the Karnataka government to provide eggs at Indira canteens across the state.</p><p>Speaking to reporters after inspecting the Indira Canteen here on Wednesday, he said, there is a plan to provide non-vegetarian food in Indira Canteens. "So far, it could not be implemented."</p>.'Karnataka remains aerospace and defence capital of India'.<p>He said that poor people should get nutrition in their meals. "In this regard, there is a demand from the public for non-vegetarian food and eggs."</p><p>The minister said, "Indira Canteen is Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's dream project. In the two years since the Congress came to power, 186 new Indira Canteens have been approved. Out of these, more than 100 canteens have started. The remaining canteens will start functioning soon. This will benefit the people."</p>
