Digambar Krishna Giri aka MTech Baba, was a corporate professional before. He was born into a Telugu Brahmin family and has an MTech degree from Karnataka University.

Managing a team of over 400 people, MTech Baba earned lakhs monthly and has worked in many companies, as per a report by News9.

Even though he was at the peak of his career, he left the corporate world in 2010 after a realisation that wealth can make a person take up bad habits.

MTech Baba then decided to lead a simple life after retirement.

He became a Naga Sadhu in the year 2019 after contacting many Akharas in order to start his spiritual journey.

Receiving no response from any Akharas, he went to Haridwar, immersed all his belongings in Ganga. Dressed as a monk, he lived as a beggar for 10 days, following which he joined the Niranjani Akhara.
