<p>Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju and his younger brother B Rama Raju, found guilty of an accounting fraud case and sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment by a special court last week, filed an appeal challenging the lower court’s verdict at the Nampally Sessions Court on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The court will take up the matter on Wednesday.<br /><br />On Thursday, the 23rd Additional Chief Metropolitan magistrate Court Judge B V L N Chakravarthi found Ramalinga Raju and nine others guilty of fudging accounts and inflating figures in one of India’s biggest corporate frauds. The judge had said that the accused can challenge the verdict in sessions court within 30 days. <br /><br />Raju brothers, in their petition, have questioned the very basis of their conviction.</p>
