<p>Mangaluru: An unidentified dead body was found at Bikarnakatte in Mangaluru on Monday. </p><p>Commissioner of Police Anupam Agrawal said that on receiving information, police rushed to the spot and found the body of a man aged approximately 40 to 45 years. The body had started decomposing, emitting a foul smell.</p><p>The place where the body was found belongs to Ramesh, who lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered at the East police station.</p>.Attempted robbery foiled at Muthoot Finance branch in Mangaluru, two arrested.<p>During the inspection, an OPD slip from Wenlock Hospital was found in a bag near the deceased. As per information on the slip, the deceased was admitted to Wenlock Hospital on February 4 through a 108 ambulance. </p><p>Hospital records indicate that he was admitted due to injuries sustained after falling down under the influence of alcohol. As per the statement given by a local resident from Shivbagh, the deceased was a ragpicker. </p><p>Further investigation is underway to identify the identity of the deceased as only first name was mentioned in the hospital slip, said the commissioner.</p>
