<p>Lucknow: The temple town of <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/ayodhya">Ayodhya</a> is gearing up for yet another historic moment when pran pratishtha (consecration) ceremonies of seven idols inside the Ram Temple complex on June five would be held.</p><p>Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai told reporters in Ayodhya on Wednesday that the preparations for the historic event have been completed.</p><p>He said that the rituals for the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/india/uttar-pradesh/ayodhya-ram-darbar-consecration-on-june-5-no-central-state-govt-vips-nripendra-misra-3551193">consecration ceremonies would begin</a> on June three and the idols would be consecrated on June five and seven.</p><p>Rai said that Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath would be the chief guest at the consecration ceremony on June 5.</p>.Gold plating of Ram temple spires begins in Ayodhya.<p>He said that a large number of seers and saints from across the country would be attending the ceremonies.</p><p>Rai said that June five was an auspicious day as Ganga Duessehra festival would be celebrated on that day. Ganga, according to the Hindu mythology, arrived on the Earth on this day.</p><p> ‘’The rituals will be performed in the Abhijit Muhurta on the day,’’ said another priest associated with the Ram Temple.</p>.UP govt to construct 20-km Bharat Path in Ayodhya.<p>Rai released the schedule of the consecration ceremonies according to which the rituals for the pran pratishtha would begin with a ‘kalash yatra (a ritual carrying a pitcher) on June two followed by ‘pujan (worshipping) othe ‘yajna mandapam’ the next day.</p><p>The idol of Lakshaman (Lord Rama’s younger brother) will be consecrated on June 5 at the ‘Sheshavtar Temple on the first floor of the Ram Temple followed by the consecration of seven idols at seven temples.</p><p>Earlier the consecration of the idol of Ram Lala had taken place in the Ram Temple on January 22 last year in which prime minister Narendra Modi was the chief guest.</p>
