<p>Lucknow: Under attack from the Opposition parties over death of 30 devotees in a stampede in the ongoing Maha Kumbh on Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday visited the Sangam where the stampede had taken place and and reviewed the safety arrangements.</p><p>Later addressing the seers, Adityanath said that some people were "conspiring to malign" the Sanatan Dharma and heaped praise on the saint community for their cooperation and patience to help the officials deal with the crisis.</p>.Maha Kumbh stampede casts shadow on Prayagraj's hotel business; pilgrims cancel advance bookings.<p>"You (saints) must have seen that the opponents of Sanatan Dharma wanted you to lose your patience so that we became a laughing stock but you acted like guardians," the Chief Minister said.</p><p>Adityanath said that so far more than 32 crore devotees had taken holy dip at the sangam. "Whosoever is going from here is praising the arrangements but some people are trying to hatch conspiracies against Sanatan Dharma....these people had done the same thing during the Ram Temple movement...we should not pay attention to them and work under the guidance of the seers," he added.</p>.Prakash Raj files complaint for sharing fake photo of him taking dip in Sangam at Maha Kumbh .<p>The Chief Minister earlier made an aerial survey of the Maha Kumbh area and the nearby places. He also enquired from the officials about the reasons that might have led to stampede and directed them to make foolproof arrangements for the upcoming Amrit Snan on Basant Panchami on Monday.</p>
