Metro People: Well-known columnist releases her seventh

Writer and columnist Sadiqa Peerbhoy recently launched her seventh book ‘Mayurkhund – a tale of royal passion, secrets and lies’.

Also an advertising professional, Sadiqa took to writing as a columnist. She has been a columnist for three newspapers over a period of two decades. She has also written hundreds of short stories which were published in magazines and papers and won several awards.

Her previous work ‘Marry Go Round’, a humorous take on arranged marriages, was also presented as a play at the DH Theatre festival.

The city-based author in her latest novel talks about loves, loss and old loyalties.
