Poll-O-Meter: Chugging out

The Railway engine symbol was taken off the list of symbols in 1957 elections despite it being a part of the list in 1951.

The decision came as the Election Commission received several representations that voters in some remote, undeveloped areas were not familiar with a railway engine and they could not easily recognise it.
