Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday unveiled the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.

Calling it a 'Sankalp Patra', Shah said the manifesto is a resolution letter for West Bengal by the BJP.

Here are the key takeaways from the BJP's manifesto:

1. Women to be given 33% reservation in state government jobs.

2. Border fencing to be strengthened to curb influx of infiltrators in West Bengal.

3.Free education to be provided for women from KG to PG.

4. Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to be implemented and refugees who have been staying here for 70 years to be given citizenship. Every refugee family to be given Rs 10,000 per year for five years through DBT.

5. Fishermen to be given assistance of Rs 6,000 per year, and Rs 10,000 to be given to each farmer in the state every year.

6. Three new AIIMS to be set up in North Bengal, Jungle Mahal and Sundarbans regions.

7. Assistance of Rs 4,000 every year to be provided to every landless farmer under Krishak Suraksha Yojana.

8. Anti-corruption helpline to be created under the CMO, so that any citizen will be able to direct the complaint directly to the Chief Minister.

9. Common Eligibility Test to be instituted for all state government jobs to keep a check on corruption.

10. Separate Task Forces to be constituted to curb problems of arms racketeering, unchecked narcotics trade, land grabbing, fake currency circulation and cattle smuggling.

West Bengal goes to polls in eight phases from March 27.
