'At whose behest was Scorpio parked near Antilia?', asks Raj Thackeray

Raj Thackeray on Sunday sought a Central probe into how the Scorpio SUV came to be parked near the home of India’s top businessman Mukesh Ambani.

“The basic issues are getting sidelined… How did the SUV with explosives (gelatin) come to be parked near Antilia. We suspected it was done by terrorists, but now it seems to have been the handiwork of the police,” said Raj, the estranged cousin of Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray.

“Who authorised (arrested ASI) Sachin Vaze to keep that SUV? From where were the gelatin sticks sourced?” he asked.

Raj said Uddhav Thackeray and Mukesh Ambani enjoy “excellent relations”, then why would Vaze dare to park the SUV there without someone’s authorisation. “At whose order the Scorpio was parked is a key question…this needs to be found out…there should be a thorough central probe,” he said.
