Alok, Shloka claim under-14 titles

Alok notched up a convincing 6-1, 6-3 win against second seed BR Nikshep in the final.
Nikshep, though, came back to defeat second seed Vasist C 6-1, 6-2 in the under-12 final.
In the girls’ section, second seed Shloka Kumar registered a facile 6-0, 6-2 win against Swetha Samuel in the under-14 final. Ramya C, seeded second, overcame a stiff challenge from top seed Nupur Umashankar to post a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (3) win in the under-12 title match.
Results (all finals): Boys: U-14: Alok Aradhya bt BR Nikshep 6-1, 6-1.
Doubles: Arjun M/ Mohith Reddy bt Alok Aradhya/ BR Nikshep 7-5, 7-5.
U-12: BR Nikshep bt Vasist C 6-1, 6-2.

Girls: U-14: Shloka Kumar bt Swetha Samuel 6-0, 6-2.
U-12: N Ramya bt Nupur Umashankar 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3).
