Addressing a press conference after participating in the review meeting on Thursday, Chief Election Officer Manoj Arya said: “Usually political parties distribute such slips to voters during their door-to-door campaigns. But now, the Election Commission has decided to distribute these slips.”
About 92 per cent of the voters in the constituency possess voters identification cards. But the voter’s slips with photographs can be used by all the voters to cast their votes.
