All BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs of Karnataka, on Monday, decided to donate their one month's salaries for relief operations in rain-ravaged Kodagu district.
“The damage caused in Kodagu is beyond imagination. People there are finding it difficult to lead daily lives. It is our duty to help these people who have lost their homes,” state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa said in a release.
The one-month salaries of all BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs will be remitted to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Yeddyurappa added.
