BSY submits list of candidates to Shah

Karnataka BJP president B S Yeddyurappa on Friday submitted a list of candidates to be fielded for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections from the state.

Yeddyurappa, along with his son B Y Vijayendra, met the party's national president Amit Shah and discussed about each seat for more than an hour.

In the meeting, Yeddyurappa submitted the list of candidates to be fielded from each constituency in Karnataka.

While all sitting MPs will be fielded from their respective constituencies, new names have been recommended for some segments, a source said.

Yeddyurappa also met the party's national general secretary Ramlal separately.

Speaking to reporters, Yeddyurappa said, "We have submitted a list and the party's top brass will take a final decision and will announce the candidates soon".
