Petition disposed, Rohini Sindhuri back as Hassan DC

The Additional Advocate General on Monday submitted to the Karnataka High Court that the Government has issued a notification dated June 25 stating that IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Hassan with immediate effect until further orders.

Following this, a division bench headed by Justice HG Ramesh disposed of the petition filed by Sindhuri who had moved the court challenging her transfer as the Hassan DC.

In the last hearing, the state government had stated that it would inform the court with regard to its stand on the transfer of Sindhuri on Monday.

Sindhuri is presently serving as the Commissioner of Employment and Training Bengaluru.

The notification issued by the state government also states that IAS officer Dr P C Jaffer who was serving as the Hassan Deputy Commissioner until now has been transferred.
