A few hours after the woman allegedly involved in the Ramesh Jarkiholi sex CD scandal released a third video clip statement on Friday morning about her advocate filing a complaint to the Commissioner of Police, the advocate Jagadesh Kumar met Kamal Pant at around 2.30 pm in his office and handed over the complaint copy allegedly handwritten by the woman.

After having a brief discussion with the advocates and verifying the complaint details, he directed them to go to Cubbon Park police station and give the complaint to the officers.

Speaking to media persons, Jagadesh said that he is going to Cubbon Park police station. He said that the woman contacted them only after they made a video and uploaded the same on Facebook in which they assured her legal assistance for fighting the case.

Jagadesh said that around five days ago a group of advocates had approached Pant requesting him to take a suo motu case based on the video clipping released by the woman. Pant had told them if the video clipping is fake it would lead to more problems. So they have come along with the complaint copy of the woman today.

When Jagadesh met Pant, the SIT team senior officials were also present. Jagadesh said he can't reveal much details about how the woman approached them because of her safety concern. But, the woman herself has named us as her advocate.

By evening the police are going to decide the charges they are going to impose in the FIR based on the complaint given by the woman. We don't have any demands for the charges to be imposed. Pant also asked me to meet a DIG rank officer and Cubbon Park police about providing safety for the woman. Based on their assurance we will communicate to the woman and will bring her to SIT in a day or two, Jagadesh said.

He added that it is up to the officials to decide if the complaint of the woman attracts the Nirbhaya Act.
