Opening for post of junior research fellow

Applications have been invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow under a research project sanctioned to the Centre for Advanced Research in Environmental Radioactivity (CARER), Mangalore University.

The project titled “Validation of Liquid Scintillation Spectrometry Based Carbon-14 (14C) Measurements Techniques by AMS and Development of Reference Materials for Environmental Monitoring Applications around Nuclear Power Plants” is awarded from Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi.

Candidates who have obtained MSc degree in Physics (with first class marks and preferably specialisation in Nuclear/Radiation Physics) and interested in working in this project may apply.

Those selected will be paid Rs 16,000 per month for two years and Rs 18,000 per month for the third year (GATE/NET candidates) or Rs 14,000 for 2 years and Rs 16,000 for the third year (for non-GATE/non-NET candidates).
