A police sub-inspector attached to District Crime Intelligence Bureau (DCIB) in Belagavi has landed in trouble after posting comments against the state government on his Facebook wall.

The posts (in Kannada) on Uddappa Kattikar’s Facebook wall made between May 17 and May 23 have gone viral in the social media. “People working for the nation were one side while people hungry for power have teamed up one the other side,” one of the posts say.

In another post, it is said casteists and communalists had joined hands in the name of secularists. He has also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strengthened the national economy. The PSI removed the posts after they went viral. Kattikar could not be contacted for comments.
