JOIN USA woman was allegedly gangraped by three persons at Bellare in Sullia taluk on Monday evening.
The victim was on the way to supply milk to the dairy when the miscreants forcibly took her in an autorickshaw and sexually assaulted her in a rubber plantation.
After sexually assaulting, the suspects left her in the same place from where she was abducted. On reaching home, she informed the family members.
A complaint was filed on Tuesday morning. The police who swung into action managed to nab all the three accused, who have been identified as Jayaprakash (25), Ranjith N K (20) and Ravindra (35), all residents of Amaramudnoor in the vicinity. All the three were taken into custody when they were trying to flee after committing the crime at Chokkadi near here.
Police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
