The ritual of pouring rice into ‘Pattaya’ vessel was observed in Bhagamangala, to mark the beginning of Tula Sankramana fair on Thursday.
The ritual took place at the ‘Ainmane’ house of Balladka family in Bhagamandala.
The family members poured rice into the vessel at the auspicious Kanya Lagna at 7.15 am. Takka Head Balladka Appaji, Kodi Motaiah and Parupattedar Ponnanna and others were present.
The ‘Ajna Muhurta’ will be initiated on October 5 at Kruttika Lagna.
