US President-elect Donald Trump was seen sporting a new hairdo at the Trump International Golf Club Palm Beach on Wednesday.

In video that has now gone viral, right-wing influencer Michael Solakiewicz shared Trump's new look as he strolled through the Trump International Golf Club Palm Beach.

Many netizens liked the close cut that they felt looked neater and more presidential, with one comment reading, "Looking Good Mr. President!!!"

Another added, "I love it..."

"Looks great! Much easier upkeep!", a third one said.

Other users didn't really like it.

"As long as it's still orange, we're fine," one user said.

"He is trying to look like his buddy Kim Jong Un," another added.

"Honestly, the haircut's the least of his problems. Maybe if he focused more on policies rather than his looks, we'd actually get somewhere," a third one said.

Some users questioned whether its was a new hairdo at all, with one saying, "People, he just played a round of golf with a hat on. Hats do that to hair. Not a new look. Guaranteed."

Having won the US Presidential elections, defeating Democrat candidate and the current Vice-President Kamala Harris, Trump is setting up his team for the January 20th handover from current President Joe Biden.

Trump secured 295 electoral votes, comfortably crossing the 270-vote majority. He is the first in over a century to serve non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland in 1892 and the oldest President at 78 years.

His cabinet will also include industrialist Elon Musk, who will head the Department of Government Efficiency longside biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

His election to the US office has also made many countries and their economies nervous, with him stating his intention to impose reciprocal tariffs in retaliation for the “high tariff” imposed by others countries, including India, on the import of certain American products.

"If they tax us, we tax them the same amount. They tax us. We tax them. And they tax us. Almost in all cases, they're taxing us, and we haven't been taxing them,” Trump told reporters on Monday.
