An aircraft carrying Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and some senior officials made an emergency, safe landing at Vijayawada's Gannavaram airport Monday.

The pilot of the New Delhi-bound plane turned the flight back after a technical snag was detected mid-air. The CM's Delhi tour was to participate in a preparatory conclave for the Global Investors Summit in Visakhapatnam in March. The problem, CMO officials said, was primarily attributed to pressurisation issues because of leakage from the AC valve. The plane which took off at Gannavaram at 5:03 pm landed back at 5:27 pm.

The CM later went to his camp office at Tadepalli. Officials made alternate arrangements and the CM took another flight to Delhi at 9 pm.
