Aamir Khan introduced his partner Gauri Spratt to the media on Thursday, on the eve of his 60th birthday.
The two have been dating for over a year and living together. Naturally, there was a lot of curiosity to know what Gauri thought of the Lagaan star.
She spilled the beans that Aamir is not a foodie per se, something the actor agreed with.
He revealed that due to the sort of discipline his profession demands, he cannot always be a foodie, though he does enjoy eating good food. Khan went on to say sometimes for six months at a stretch he has to have the same food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so he cannot afford to be discerning about his food.
His remark highlights the sacrifices actors put into their roles -- something often missed with the glitz and glamour the industry offers.
Khan, while being praised for his commitment to roles, and the discipline to see them through, jokingly remarked that he does not 'like' discipline.
Gauri and Aamir also opened up about their relationship with the former saying that Khan was a romantic person who did something special for her each day.
The Bollywood star, meanwhile, stated that Spratt had been welcomed by all in his family, and he never had to worry about whether he was drawn to him for his fame and stardom, since Spratt remained relatively unfazed by Khan's celebrity status -- something he attributed to her not watching too many movies.
