Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt's love language: Touch

The veteran actor introduced his partner to mediapersons on the eve of his 60th birthday.

Aamir Khan turns 60 today, but it turns out it was the veteran actor who surprised mediapersons yesterday when he introduced his partner Gauri Spratt.

Spratt and Khan opened up about their relationship -- the two have been dating for over a year and live together.

Khan and Spratt, during the interaction often held hands, or touched each others' hands, with Khan notably taking her hand into his while crooning Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mai for her during the informal meet-and-greet session.

Media people were quick to point out that it seemed as though their love language was touch, and the couple agreed. Gauri also spilled the beans, revealing that Aamir was not a foodie. The actor concurred, stating that his profession required too much dietary discipline to leave leeway for culinary explorations.

Aamir also spoke of how his family had been welcoming towards Gauri, and his children had taken a liking to her as well. For her part, Gauri shared that Aamir's family had made her feel 'very welcome' with 'open arms'.

Khan said his partner is relatively unfazed by his stardom, but not yet used to 'Bollywood madness'. The two met or were reintroduced through Khan's cousin -- who is friends with Gauri, though Aamir and she had known each other for 25 years.

While very much in love, Aamir said he was willing to allow things to take its course when asked about marriage.

Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta, and the two have two kids. His second marriage with Kiran Rao ended in 2021, and the couple have a child together.
