Aamir Khan is turning 60 and he is certainly doing it in style, introducing his new partner Gauri Spratt to the media at a meet-and-greet on Thursday.
Khan, at the event, said they knew each other for 25 years.
Gauri, whose X profile, says she is from Bengaluru, works under Aamir's production banner.
Who is Gauri Spratt?
Spratt is an Anglo-Indian. Her father is Tamil-British, and her mother is Punjabi-Irish. Gauri, when asked about her identity, proudly says 'Indian.'
Spratt's grandfather was a British who fought for India's freedom struggle and historian Ramachandra Guha has written about him, Aamir revealed.
She studied at Blue Mountain School before getting a degree from the University of the Arts London.
Khan recalled Spratt telling him that she did not believe in the 'superstar' label that Aamir is often associated with, and the veteran actor also shared that his partner is still trying to get used to the 'Bollywood madness'.

Spratt was re-introduced to Aamir through his cousin, and the two hit it off, exchanging numbers. They now live together, and Khan said he was happy and committed in his relationship though fending off questions about a marriage.
He also took the 'other Gauri in Bollywood' -- a tip of the hat to Shah Rukh's wife -- jibe in a sporting manner, sharing with the media present there that the two are happy and committed in their relationship.
Spratt revealed she felt very welcome when introduced to Aamir's family, and his kids have also taken a liking to her.
She is mother to a six-year-old boy and had seen two of Khan's films -- Lagaan and Dangal prior to meeting him.
On Wednesday, when Salman and Shah Rukh visited Aamir's residence, Spratt was present to meet the other two Khans of Bollywood.
Aamir announced his divorce with filmmaker Kiran Rao in July 2021. The two have a son named Azad. Aamir was married to Reena Dutta before that and the couple have two children -- Ira and Junaid.
