Due to second wave of Covid-19, Ministry of Education urged for the postponement of all offline examinations scheduled in the month of May, 2021.

As the second wave of coronavirus continues to engulf several parts of the country, the Centre on Monday said some states are showing very early signs of plateauing in daily newCovid-19 cases, while some remain a cause of concern.

Twelve states have started vaccinating those in age group of 18-44 years againstCovid-19 from May 1.
