Suspense over the new Delhi chief minister grew on Monday as AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal held "one on one" meetings with members of party's Political Affairs Committee (PAC) and ministers, while Atishi emerged as the front-runner for the post.
With Modi 3.0 completing 100 days, the Congress on Monday claimed that Narendra Modi in his third term had proven to be a "weak" prime minister who was dependent on crutches and setting new records for U-turns.

State BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva said, "AAP leaders are trying to makeover the party. They forget that they can change the face of the party but not the character. They cannot clean the black blots of corruption on their character."
"For the people of Delhi, the only issue in the elections would be the corruption of Arvind Kejriwal. He has looted and conned the people of Delhi. Had there been an iota of morality, then he would have resigned the day he was arrested. Arvind Kejriwal is displaying the lowest level of morality," he added.

On the new CM of Delhi, he said, "I have no knowledge, whether it will be someone from the council of ministers or from among the MLAs. But we will let you know. As far as I understand the politics of Arvind Kejriwal, I don't think it will be Sunita Kejriwal. She is not interested."
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on on AAP MLAs unanimously accepting Kejriwal's proposal forwarding Atishi's name for the CM post said, "Changing the face won't change Aam Aadmi Party's character. Aam Aadmi Party is indulged in corruption."

On Atishi to be new Delhi CM, BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, "Many congratulations to Atishi for being the new CM. We will support her in the development of Delhi. We hope that she will use our experience also for the benefit of Delhi. The condition of Delhi is very bad. People don't have drinking water, the roads are broken, our public transport system has collapsed. I hope that these problems will be solved when Atishi becomes the CM."
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tendered his resignation to Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena here on Tuesday and AAP leader Atishi, chosen by the party as his successor, staked her claim to form a new government.
Kejriwal reached the LG Secretariat along with his Cabinet colleagues to resign on Tuesday afternoon, days after announcing his decision to quit from the post. (PTI)
Brinda Karat said on Atishi staking claim to be Delhi CM, "In the circumstances under which Atishi has become the Chief Minister, she herself said it is very sad that Arvind ji had to resign today. Making her the Chief Minister is a good thing as a woman has become the Chief Minister and certainly, during her tenure, she will listen to the voice of the people of Delhi, the voice of the poor, the voice of the workers and will work to get justice for the people of Delhi. This is our hope."
