The amazing feature now called 'Try on' will enhance the 3D virtual shopping experience for customers in India. It will allow users to check out how they look in the new outfit with just a photo of the actual physical dress.

The company has used a custom AI model for fashion. It is capable of understanding both the human body and the nuances of clothing, like how different materials fold, stretch and drape on different body shapes. This way, the users will be able to see how a piece of clothing would actually look on them from just a single photo of themselves.

Here's how to use the 'Try On' feature:

Step 1: Search for clothes on Google Shopping (here) and look for items that have a 'try it on' icon on the product listing

Step 2: It will ask the user to upload a full-length photo of themselves.

For best results, ensure it's a full-body shot with good lighting and fitted clothing. Within moments, he/she can see how the garment will look on them.
