This month, Vivo, Xiaomi, Google, Oppo and others are slated to bring all-new phones in a wide range of price bands worldwide and in India.

Vivo Y400

Vivo is slated to launch the new budget phone Y400 series in India on August 4.

The new Android phone is expected to sport 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen and come with iP68+69 water-and-dust resistant durability rating.

It will run Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15 and support Google's generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI)-powered Gemini Live, Circle to Search and more. Also, it is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery.

It is said to feature dual-camera on the back with 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor.

The company has confirmed the device will be available in two colours -- Glam White and Olive Green.

Vivo V60 series

Vivo is set to launch the new V60 series later this month on August 12 in India.

As the per official teaser, the device features a big ZEISS camera capsule with dual sensors at the back, with a standalone camera sensor and LED flash on the side. It will come with special ZEISS Portrait camera mode features for the Indian market.

The device will come with an IP68+IP69 rating, meaning it can survive a drop in the swimming pool for up to 1.5 metres (around five feet) for close to 30 minutes. Also, it can withstand high-pressure water jets up to 80 bar.

The new Vivo V60 sports a curved display with thin bezel and is touted to be the slimmest phone in its class with a 6,500mAh battery.

Vivo device is expected to come with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 silicon. It is a 4nm class chipset with a 64-bit architecture. It has one prime core (with up to 2.8 GHz), four performance cores (up to 2.4 GHz speed), and three efficiency cores (up to 1.8 GHz). It can improve CPU performance by up to 27 per cent over its predecessor.

The device will houses a 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging capability.

Vivo has also revealed that the new Android phone will be available in three colours-- auspicious gold, moonlit blue and mist grey.

Oppo K13 Turbo

Oppo is expected to launch the new K13 Turbo series in the second week of August in India.

The K13 Turbo series phone with a built-in fan. It is designed to keep the phone cool when performing heavy-duty tasks such as playing graphics-rich games or recording 4K videos.

It is widely reported that Oppo will offer the new device in two variants-- K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, which have already been released in China.

Both devices are said to feature the same design, and even most of the internal hardware is also expected to be similar, but differ in terms of processor.

They are expected to sport a 6.80-inch 1.5K (1,280x2,800p) AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

They will feature a fingerprint sensor, a 50MP dual-camera module with LED flash on the back, a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calling and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability.

The K13 Turbo is said to come with a MediaTek 8450 octa-core processor, and the K13 Turbo Pro will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core silicon.

Redmi 15

Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 15 on August 19 in India.

It is touted to be the first phone in the budget phone segment to boast a 7,000mAh battery capacity with Silicon-Carbon material. The new technology will enable the device's cell to retain maximum power of up to 80 per cent for at least four years. Usually, most users change their handset after three or four years of usage.

The company also revealed that the Redmi 15 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 octa-core processor and run Android 15-based HyperOS 2. It will sport a big 6.9-inch full HD display and support up to 144Hz refresh rate, and come with Eye Safe certification.

And, the device will feature a dual 50MP AI camera with an LED flash on the back. And, it is expected to house an 8MP front camera.

The Redmi 15 will be available in three colours --frosted white, midnight black and sandy purple-- and come with an IP64 water-and-dust resistant rating.

Google Pixel 10 series

Google is all geared up to unveil the Pixel 10 series in New York City, US on August 20. It will be launched in India the next day on August 21.

Google Pixel 10 is said to be available in four models - a standard Pixel 10, a top-end Pixel 10 Pro, a Pixel 10 Pro XL with a bigger display and an ultra-premium Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

All the new Pixel 10 variants will be powered by Google's proprietary Tensor G5 chipset. It is said to come big upgrade to deliver lag-free performance and be able to run generative Artificial Intelligence features such as Gemini Live, and computational photography tools such as Magic Editor, without any lag-ness as such.

This time, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will come with more durable build materials and will also feature an IP68 rating, a first for a foldable Pixel series phone to date.

It will be able to survive an accidental fall in a water body like a swimming pool for up to a depth of 1.5 metres (around five feet) for close to 30 minutes.

Also, new Pixel 10 series phones are expected to get improved and brighter display panels compared to the previous iterations. Also, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will get a bigger battery than its predecessor.

Besides the new Pixel 10 series phones, Google is also expected to unveil Pixel Watch 4. It is said to come with improved health tracking capabilities and deliver longer battery life.

And, Google is also expected to bring new generation Pixel Buds series premium truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones.
