The new devices come with sturdy build quality and a truckload of value-added features to enhance the user experience.

Here are key features of Google's Pixel 10 series:

Google Tensor 5G silicon: The new 3nm class Google Tensor G5 chipset promises 34 per cent faster CPU performance and more than 60 per cent Tensor Processing Units (TPU) computing speed. The new silicon powers several new generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI) features in the latest Pixel phone.

Supports Satellite connectivity for WhatsApp calls and messages: Previous iterations of Pixel phones used to offer satellite connectivity to send emergency SOS messages or calls in select regions to request immediate help. Now, the Pixel 10 series supports satellite connectivity to make calls and send messages on WhatsApp, a first for any phone in the market.

New gen AI features: The Pixel 10 series comes with several new gen AI features, including Camera Coach, Magic Cue, Live user voice translation and more.

Camera Coach is powered by Google Gemini large language models (LLMs) to suggest ways to improve photos. It can assist the device in deciding on different framing and composition for a shot. This will come in handy for naive phone users who are eager to improve their photography skills.

The Magic Cue is powered by the new advanced Gemini Nano, an on-device AI model. It is designed to read all compatible apps and intuitively offer suggestions at the right time, saving users’ time and effort.

Consider a scenario where you and your friends have planned a trip, but just days before the D-day, one friend messages you to make some last-minute changes, and here's where Magic Cue kicks in and will intuitively bring the trip details within the app for easy reference. It will offer the phone number of the tour agency on the phone's screen within the message app to instantly make the call and change the itinerary.

Camera Share on Gemini Live: With this feature, Gemini will not only see what the user sees, but also provide guidance by highlighting the solution directly on the screen.

And, Pixel 10 Pro series owners will get the play with Veo video generator through a free subscription to Google AI Pro for one year.

With this gen AI tool, users can use text prompts to generate images, and turn images to 8-second videos and more.

It allows the device to support wireless chargers, stands, grips, wallets and other magnetic accessories. Thanks to powerful magnets, the device and the accessories do not easily detach from each other.

100X Super Resolution: This particular feature is exclusive to the Pixel 10 Pro series models. The new 5X telephoto sensor, which supports 10X optical zoom, can perform 100X digital zoom thanks to Tensor G5 and the generative imaging model. Both work in tandem to intelligently recover and refine intricate details. The new Pro Res Zoom is touted to be the largest AI model ever used on a Pixel Camera, to deliver the highest-quality zoom on a smartphone.
