<p>The Congress promised “corruption free and transparent municipal administration” in its manifestos released on Saturday, for MCD elections in three municipalities.<br /></p>.<p> <br />The Congress also made 'area specific development' promises in the three separate manifestos released for each of the three municipalities – north Delhi, south Delhi and east Delhi, which go to polls on April 15.<br /><br />Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit trashed BJP’s allegations of corruption and highlighted the achievements of her government on the manifesto release function, attended by senior Congress leaders Motilal Vora and Janardhan Dwivedi, Union Ministers Ajay Maken and Krishna Tirath. The manifestos were released by Delhi Congress president, J P Agarwal. <br /><br />The CM reiterated that it will be her biggest priority to make Delhi clean and green, the cleanest city of the country. She said the trifurcation of MCD and providing 50 per cent women reservation remained her government's biggest achievement.<br /><br />“Delhi government has built wide beautiful roads but once you enter the colonies, what do you see? Dirty, pot-holed roads. Why? Because these roads are maintained by the MCD, being governed by the corrupt BJP. <br /><br />Thus we lagged behind in making Delhi clean.
