<p class="title"><span>The Maharashtra government has announced its plan to hold its first ever global investors summit next month, which would be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<br /><br />Titled as the Magnetic Maharashtra Convergence 2018 Global Investors Summit, to be held from 18-20 February, the summit would see a participation from India Inc and top global companies. <br /><br />With tagline #MadeForBusiness, it is one of the big events that Mumbai would witness post prime minister's Make in India initiative in Feb, 2016. </span><span>The event will be organised by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).<br /><br />Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's most-ambitious project, the Samruddhi Corridoor that would connect Mumbai to its winter capital Nagpur, would be among the projects that would be showcased during the summit.<br /><br />According to officials of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the expressway would have access control and would be 7 meter above land level.
