The Delhi BJP on Saturday claimed that the party’s internal survey has indicated that it would bag about 60 per cent votes polled in each parliamentary constituency in the coming elections.

Party’s election campaign committee chairman V K Malhotra said primary workers have conducted a door-to-door survey in all the parliamentary constituencies and the people of Delhi had made clear in the survey that BJP is going to win all seats, winning 60 per cent of the votes.

“The survey has been done in last 15 days. Besides party workers, we had also deployed professionals for the survey. The feedback indicates an unprecedented victory for BJP. In last Lok Sabha elections in 2009, the party candidates had lost to Congress candidates by 90,000 to 2.50 lakh votes. But the situation has completely changed this time,” Malhotra said.

He accused the Aam Aadmi Party for betraying the people of Delhi.“The Congress party has lost its base in Delhi and people will never vote AAP candidate to power as it has betrayed them. Now, the people will vote for making Narendra Modi the Prime Minster of India,” he added.

“According to our survey, the Congress and the AAP will get mere 10-15 per cent pf votes in the coming elections,” he added.

Party’s Rajya Sabha MP and former Delhi unit chief Vijay Goel, who is also heading the booth management cell for coming elections, raised questions on the intentions of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi over the issue of corruption.

“Gandhi has attended only about 42 per cent of the parliamentary sittings. He has hardly spoken on any issue in the parliament. He has no moral right to speak on any issue related to Delhi. He played an instrumental role in ensuring support to AAP by Congress which further ruined Delhi during its 49-day rule,” he said.He also accused Gandhi for shielding his party leaders who are facing corruption charges.

“Despite clear evidence of corruption against her, why has the Congress party awarded former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit with a Governor’s post,” he asked.
