Teen gang raped by two drunk men

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by two drunk men on Monday in south-east Delhi, police said.

The victim works as a maid in Jamia Nagar’s Batla House and lives nearby.

Her neighbour, also a maid, first lured her to a house where two drunk men were staying.

Then they took turns to rape her, police said.
She approached police after the incident. Police said the neighbour told her that she was going for a party at a nearby house, where two of her male friends would be present.

The victim accompanied her to the house, where she was served tea laced with sedatives. As she began to lose consciousness, the two men allegedly forced themselves upon her after dragging her to an adjoining room.

A medical examination of the victim has confirmed sexual assault, said a police officer. A case of gang rape has been registered with Jamia Nagar police station, and the woman who lured her to the house has been detained.

However, both accused are absconding, and a hunt is on to nab them, said the officer.
