<p>Odisha's noted sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created yet another wonder erecting a 35 feet by 75 feet sand idol of Lord Jesus.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Sudarsan used about 1000 tonnes of sand mixed with coloured sand in the statue which comprised the sculptor of Lord Jesus, Mother Mary and Santa Clause.<br /><br />Pattnaik, who was assisted by 25 of his students at the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute of Puri, took 3 days to build up the mammoth structure, which will be on display from December 24 till January 1.<br /><br />Pilgrims who are in the temple town during the ongoing festive season throng the beach everyday for a glimpse of the marvellous structure.<br /><br />Sudarsan had already created seven world records registered with the Limca Book of Records.<br /><br />"I've received an official letter from the Limca Book of Record's senior editor Arthy Muthanna Singh to proceed with making the biggest sand statue of Lord Jesus," he said.</p>
