HCL Infosystems Q2 net down at Rs 55.98 cr

This is against a net profit of Rs 56.09 crore during the same period last fiscal, HCL Infosystems said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Net income from operations, however, increased 2.75 per cent to Rs 3,115.14 crore for the reported quarter from Rs 3,031.49 crore registered during Q2 FY'10.

Revenues from computer systems business stood at Rs 1,001.60 crore, while telecommunications and office automation business contributed Rs 2,103.83 crore. HCL Infosystems shares closed at Rs 106 apiece, up 0.33 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
