<p>New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday said it plans to export electric vehicles to the UK as the recently signed free trade deal would lower taxes and make procedures easier.</p>.<p>At present, Mahindra exports passenger vehicles to South Africa and Australia. “We plan to export EVs to the UK,” Mahindra & Mahindra Executive Director and CEO for auto and farm sectors Rajesh Jejurikar told reporters at a company event in Mumbai.</p>.<p> He said the company has outlined plans to invest Rs 27,000 crore over the next three years to expand its manufacturing capacity. Out of this Rs 12,000 crore will be building capacity for EV manufacturing and Rs 8,000 crore for ICE vehicles.</p>.<p>The company on Friday unveiled four concept vehicles targeted at the global markets. The newly unveiled sports utility vehicles (SUVs) called Vision.S, Vision.T, Vision.SXT and Vision.X, will address segments where the company currently does not have an offering. </p>.<p>The new models will be based on the NU_IQ platform. The commercial roll out of these vehicles are expected to begin in 2027.</p>.<p>“NU_IQ is a strategic blueprint for the future of Mahindra SUVs globally. With its modular, multi-energyarchitecture, it gives us the flexibility to innovate across multiple top hats and powertrains whilst staying true to our SUV DNA,” said R Velusamy, Managing Director, Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd.</p>.<p>“Designed to resolve paradoxes, NU_IQ forms the foundation for our next generation of SUVs. It marks a bold step and the start of a new era that frees customers from compromises and puts truly desirable, premium core SUVs squarely in the mainstream,” he added.</p>.<p>“The NU_IQ SUVs, designed at our Global Design studios in Mumbai and Banbury, represent the start of a new chapter of our HEARTCORE design philosophy,” said Pratap Bose, Chief Design & Creative Officer - Auto & Farm Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra.</p>
