Sensex tumbles 705.65 points; Nifty drops 182.85 points in early trade

Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded sharply by over 1% on Friday after sliding for the past three sessions, propelled by bargain hunting in financial, telecom and tech stocks amid a correction in global crude prices.

Sensex on Monday tumbled 705.65 points to 81,702.52; Nifty dropped 182.85 points to 24,929.55 in early trade.
