<p> Sweden’s Volvo Buses on Monday announced that it has received an order for 51 multi-axle intercity coaches from homegrown bus transport provider VRL Logistics, translating to a deal size of around Rs 60 crore. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The order from VRL includes a mix of the Volvo 9400XL and Volvo 9400PX multi-axle models with I-Shift. The Volvo 9400PX is a 14.5m coach with steerable tag axle, and is apt for long-distance routes, where VRL is offering services. <br /><br />With the new order, VRL plans to extend journeys on existing routes, and also open new ones. <br /></p>
