'Centre following anti-labour policy'

Last Updated 17 December 2018, 20:17 IST

All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) state unit secretary N Shivanna alleged that the Narendra Modi government is following anti-labour policy in the country.

He said the labourers will teach a lesson to the BJP in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Speaking at a convention organised by the AITUC and ANTUC on Sunday, he said that the NDA government is working in favour of capitalists by neglecting the farmers and the labour class.

The rise in the price of petroleum products has affected the common man. The government has failed to check unemployment and corruption, he added.

He further accused the BJP of failing to fulfil the promises made in the manifesto during the election. The implementation of the GST has affected small industries, he added.
