A 30-year-old man who had entered the Arabian Sea for sea-bathing was washed away on Sunday at Murdeshwar. Raju, a resident of Vyalikaval, was a food distributor at Manyata Tech Park, said the police.
Four others were rescued by local swimmers and life guards at the beach. Raju and his 12 friends had come to Murdeshwar for a trip.
