<p>Cash flowed near this voting booth on the bylanes of KR Pura, Bangalore North Constituency as workers from both BJP and Congress tried to convince people to vote for their party candidate. </p>.<p>Around polling booth number 174 near Narayana E- Techno school in K R Pura, Bangalore North Constituency. While BJP workers were caught on camera distributing money of Rs 10 to Rs 50, depending upon the type of voter, the Congress workers were marking the amount on voter slips. The money was to be collected after casting vote.</p>.<p>Parties were also "taking care" of the voters by distributing butter milk at KR Pura. But money matters took centrestage behind the scenes..</p>.<p>On the other side of the same polling booth, Congress men were writing on slips with amount of Rs 100 to Rs 150 and asking the people to collect the amount after voting. When asked, they said that "it was nothing but a thank you gesture to those supporting us".</p>.<p>Similarly, in KR Puram's Chikkabasantpura Government School, Congress workers were seen distributing money. When this reporter started to walk nearby, the police whistled loudly and money distribution stopped. The workers were seen distributing Rs 50 to 100.</p>.<p>Interestingly these incidents were happening just near the places where police were deployed on duty. They seemed to have been collaborating or turned a blind eye to all the violations. When questioned, they tried to play it down by saying "aithu biddamma" ("let it go").</p>
