Pay more for tolls at E-city, Attibele

Starting this Sunday, commuters who use the toll roads in Electronic City and Attibele will have to shell out more for return trips and monthly passes.

The Bangalore Elevated Tollway Private Limited has revised the charges which will be applicable between July 1 and June 30, 2019 (see box).

For the Electronic City-road, the revision will affect the monthly pass users more than the one-time commuters, as the increase in price for cars and light motor vehicles category stands at Rs 50. Those who run buses will have to pay Rs 105 more for the pass.

Except for cars, a flat Rs 5 hike has been levied on all the vehicles while it is Rs 10 for large types of machinery and earthmovers.

A similar revision with a price hike has been levied at the Attibele toll with the monthly pass for cars going up by Rs 20.

The hike for one-way and return trips stands at Rs 5.
