The State government has invited proposals from senior sportspersons and coaches to confer lifetime achievement award.
The accomplishments of the applicants till December 2011 will be considered to shortlist the proposals. The applications must be submitted before August 4. The prescribed format of application is available at the office of the assistant director, Youth Services and Sports Department and Karnataka Sports Authority, Bangalore.
Proposals are also invited for ‘Ekalavya’ awards for sportpersons from the State who have achieved excellence in national and international sports meets.
