Realtor found hanging in biz partner's office loo

A 50-year-old real estate businessman was found hanging in the toilet of his business partner's office in southern Bengaluru's Katriguppe on Monday evening. His family has cried foul. 

Srinivas, of Nelagadaranahalli, who was into moneylending and real estate businesses, went to his partner Raghavendra's office on Water Tank Road. A while later, he was found hanging in the toilet. 

When he stayed in there for long and didn't respond to repeated knocks, the office staff sensed something suspicious and broke open the door. The jurisdictional Girinagar police rushed to the spot after being informed and took the body to hospital for post-mortem. 

Police said they hadn't found a suicide note and that Srinivas's business partner was not in the office at the time. Srinivas's elder son Manikantha has filed a police complaint, suspecting foul play by Raghavendra. Police are waiting for the post-mortem report and are yet to question Raghavendra.
