Teacher training at Dayananda Sagar University

The Arizona State University, USA, has partnered with Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, to offer a six-day teacher training programme.

The course aims to improve the quality of teaching with a focus on training teachers from +2 colleges and higher secondary school science instructors in Bengaluru and other places.

Prominent speakers from educational research and administrative fields will impart training on teaching strategies, assessment techniques, motivating students, setting expectations with students and parents, classroom integrity and related topics. The six-day programme will begin on May 6 at Dayananda Sagar University, School of Engineering, Kudlu Gate, Hosur Road. Registrations are free but the intake is 60.
