Revati Singh (75), wife of BJP Deputy Leader in Uttar Pradesh Assembly Hukum Singh, was murdered and Rs 68 lakh cash and ornaments worth Rs 10 lakh were looted from their house on July 30.
Later, police arrested three persons in this connection and recovered Rs 52,80,000 of the looted cash from them.
The accused - Shankar, Ravi, Jasod, Lallan, Pradeep, Ashok and Sunil - have been chargesheeted under various sections of IPC, circle officer of the city and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shashi Shekhar Sing said.
Out of the seven accused, Pradeep, Ashok and Sunil are still at large. Police have, however, initiated attachment proceedings against the three, DSP said.
