The BJP has resorted to devious means to win the trust vote. Speaker K G Bopaiah has become a puppet of the ruling party. He has overstepped his limits in disqualifying the independent MLAs. I urge the Centre to dismiss the BJP Government.
H D Deve Gowda, JD(S) chief
Monday is the blackest day in the history of legislature in Karnataka. The Speaker has shown his partisan stance by disqualifying 16 MLAs. He did not conduct the session as per the rules. The police tried to stop Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah and others from entering the House.
R V Deshpande, KPCC president
As many as 105 MLAs of the BJP attended the proceedings while only 36 MLAs of the Opposition attended the session. This clearly shows that the BJP won the confidence with two third majority.
D N Jeevaraj, Govt Chief Whip
Yeddyurappa is coward. If he had self-confidence, he would have participated in the debate.
H D Kumaraswamy,
JD(S) State President
What did the Congress and JD(S) achieve by creating ruckus in the Assembly today? You are answerable to the people of the State.
Shobha Karandlaje,
Energy Minister
