<p>Seventeen colleges in the City took part in the three-day intra-collegiate fest and <br />hundreds of people witnessed the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the young <br />students.<br /><br />The first day of the fest was meant for the college girls to showcase their talents in <br />different events. <br /><br />The next two days saw a huge participation from the students of various colleges <br />giving a tough competition to each other in mad ads, solo dance, Indian group dance, <br />Western group dance, adaptune, 30 seconds to fame, tattoo designing, face painting, fashion show and many more. <br /><br />Among all, rock band and beat-boxing performances turned out to be the <br />crowd-pulling events. Sandalwood actor Diganth was the chief guest and he won the heart of many ladies gathered there. <br /><br />He shook his leg with the girls on popular tracks and was nice enough to answer the questions asked by the students. <br /><br />As a promotional spree for his upcoming film Bisile, he gave away the audio CDs of <br />the movie to the students.<br /><br />For Mad ads, Sandalwood actor and VJ Srujan Lokesh was invited as the judge. Anita, a choreographer, judged the solo dance event. The contestant performed on all the popular Bollywood songs, fusion, hip-hop and rock music. <br /><br />Indian group dance was meant to celebrate the Indian culture and nearly ten teams showcased their talents in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kolata, Bhangra and other dance forms. <br /><br />Ace choreographer Ratish chose the winners based on their performances. Adaptune was a unique event in which the contestants had to shake their leg to the songs played by the organisers. <br /><br />The fun-filled event comprised songs from old Kannada hits, latest Bollywood numbers and jingles.<br /><br />In 30 seconds to fame, the participants showed their expertise in different things within the limited time. <br /><br />Kannada anchor Akul Balaji was the judge for this event and he succeeded in cheering up the crowd.<br /><br />Sarfaraz Khan, a young beat-boxer gave a performance in beat-boxing. Later, Sunny from Aitria College and Kiran from Kristu Jayanthi gave a tough competition to him.<br /><br />The fashion show event with the theme Venice in Carnival was a big hit among the students. <br /><br />The student models set the ramp on fire by showcasing their colourful costumes. Seshadripuram College and Sindhi College bagged the first and second prizes <br />respectively. <br /><br />The students of Kristu Jayanthi College were the overall winners.The three-day fest came to an end with the rock performance by Velvet Trap band. <br /><br />For the first time, band members were performing in a college and they succeeded in catching the attention of the gathering.</p>
