The 24-year-old troubled actress left the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California on Thursday night, October 21 after spending 24 days in the facility, reported TMZ online. The 'Mean Girls' star checked herself into the centre on September 27 after failing her court-ordered drug tests and will now face LA Superior Court Judge Elden Fox in court.
The hearing will determine whether Lohan will be sent back to rehab or go to jail for violating her probation by failing the drug tests. In a earlier hearing, the actress was told to spend a month in prison but she walked free after posting USD 300,000 bail before checking herself into the facility days later.
This was the actress' second stint in rehab in as many months. The actress was released on August 2 after serving 13 days in jail for drug offences and spent 23 days in a court-ordered rehab facility. But she immediately became engulfed in the LA party scene after her release.
She failed two court-ordered drug tests and had confessed to being a cocaine addict on micro-blogging website Twitter.
"Substance abuse is a disease which unfortunately doesn't go away overnight. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day," she had tweeted after failing the tests.
